Titan Wind Energy has secured a major contract valued at RMB 568 million for FPSO hull construction, achieving a pivotal breakthrough in the high-end offshore oil and gas equipment market. The order comes from China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu), while the final vessel owner is OceanSTAR Elite Group.
The newly contracted FPSO features a length of 199.2 meters, a beam of 41 meters and a depth of 22.95 meters. The whole construction work is set to be completed and delivered in 2027. As a core facility for offshore oil and gas development, FPSO is hailed as the "offshore oil factory". It integrates multiple functions including oil-gas separation, oily wastewater treatment, power generation, crude oil storage as well as on-board accommodation and operation command, and has become the mainstream solution for deepwater offshore energy exploitation globally.
